In High Point, urgent care centers are busiest on weekends and evenings when doctors' offices are closed, and most post their wait times online. Across North Carolina, primary care practices often have a waitlist for new patients, so establishing care before you need it saves time. For a dental emergency outside office hours, an urgent care center can prescribe antibiotics and pain relief but cannot fix the tooth; a hospital emergency room can treat swelling that affects breathing or swallowing. Check the listing for insurance, hours and whether telehealth visits are offered.

Hours are published for 4 days a week. The most common schedule is 8:30 am–12 pm. Note that it does not open on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Community Clinic of High Point at (336) 841-7154; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. High Point is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and High Point follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My experience was always pleasant. I appreciate this place because without them before having insurance I wouldn't know if I would have survived.

I had been going to this clinic for years. Not once were any of them rude to me. They always put me first! I got insurance due to disability about 3/4 years ago. Even though I am at Bethany Medical now, I really miss the staff at the clinic!!!! I do not understand why people want to degrade this clinic. If you don't like it there you are more than welcome to go elsewhere but get ready to pay $75+ and full price for prescriptions. People need to quite being ungrateful and accept the help they are given. To the staff at HPCC....thank you for all that you do and will continue to do. I love y'all

First & foremost, I would give this establishment no stars if it were possible. This review is directed at most of the staff, but not all. There were some genuinely nice and caring people on call, and yes, I am aware it is run by volunteers. My first visit was paperwork, trying to see if I qualified, the usual. At the time, I had no job, no money, and barely being able to walk. They informed me that it would be $5 a visit, and $5 for prescriptions. I told them I didn't have ANY money at the time, which is why I was seeking their help in the first place, which they replied "It would be okay, they could make it work." My first appointment was a nightmare. I only had $5, so they told me if I wanted my medicine, I would need to "call someone and borrow it." My second appointment was blood work, I arrived at my appointment during inclement weather to find they were closed. I rescheduled, returned, had the appropriate blood drawn, got a prescription for high blood pressure medicine, and went home. I waited for three weeks for a call, or a letter. Nothing. I received a letter in the mail soon after that saying I had missed an appointment, and owed them $10 and couldn't be seen until I
